Summer training is finally here! I am training for the Chicago Marathon and so far it is going OK. This will be my 5th Chicago Marathon. You can read more about why I am running the marathon HERE.
I have a cool giveaway for you! Lola is very supportive with my training and wants to make sure I have do well and have fun. She also makes sure I rest and nap when it is necessary.

I’m just training for 5Ks this summer. Too hot to run much longer.
I understand. Do you have a specific goal for the 5K?
a lot up in the air (job, relationships, etc.) so I am holding off on races, but I am trying to do more long runs and focusing on fueling better

I’m training for a hilly half marathon in August. I want to run a sub 2 hour. It’s gonna be a hot one for sure but you get a ton of wine in the end, so everything will be fine.
Wine at the end is my kind of race too. Good luck with the race. One of my goals is to also run a half marathon under 2 hours. Still working on it.

I’m training for my 5th running of the Twin Cities Marathon – which happens to be on the same day as Chicago – then I’m running the Hershey Half the following weekend…and then I’m running the Marine Corp Marathon on 10/30.
